Océano IT: Our history

Océano IT was founded in 1999 through the union of several professionals from the private education sector who sought to put into practice everything they taught.

We specialize in technological R&D, carrying out cutting-edge projects in the banking, insurance, and pharmaceutical industries, shaping, for example, one of the first corporate intranets in Spain based on Microsoft systems, or developing a pioneering monitoring and early warning system for servers and mainframes for the pharmaceutical industry.

Throughout all these years, Océano IT has maintained in its DNA the driving forces that inspired its creation: an immense love for technology, and for things done right.

1999

A group of consultants specialized in various technologies came together to jointly offer our services. It was a time of technological boom, and there was a strong demand for innovation services

2005

We decided to expand our portfolio of services from pharmaceutical, banking, and insurance companies to all types of companies, offering services to smaller companies, with less complex, more cost-efficient services, and very specific functionalities.

2012

Thanks to the strength of our internal processes and our ongoing investment in R\u0026D, we expanded our service portfolio to support the granularity of cloud services, while opening our Madrid headquarters and extending our coverage throughout the entire country.

2022

In recent years, technology has been increasing its ubiquity and presence, and with it, digital threats and crime. The large amount of existing offerings requires services to be efficient and work processes to be very well defined. At Océano IT, we have chosen to expand our specialization into the field of IT security, in order to keep our clients operating and safe from theft, attacks, and accidents.
